The Valentine's Day♥

The Valentine'es Day is celebrated on February 14th each year and in this day people show appreciation for the people they love or adore. Some people give greeting cards chocolates jewelry or flowers to their partners or admirers. The origins of this festivity aren't clear, but some people believe it stems from the story of Saint Valentine, a Roman priest who married couples secretly because the emperor Claudius decided not to allow any more marriage. But Valentine, who was a priest, kept on performing secretly marriage. One night he hears footsteps and marrying a couple in time, but he was thrown in jail and his punishment was death. Then happened many wonderful things, young people come to the jail to visit him and threw him some flowers and notes up to his window. One of this young people were the daughter of the prison guard and her father allowed her to visit him in the cell. Every day they would sit and talk for hours and she helped him so much. When Valentine was to die, left a note for thanking her for her friendship. It was signed ''Love from your Valentine'' It was the start of exchanging love messages on Valentine's Day. He was written them on the day he died, 14th February. Now, every year, people remember and they think about love and friendship.
