My classmate♥

My classmate is called Annachiara. She's 14 years old and she comes from Castel Volturno, she's Italian. She has brown eyes and long hair, she's very pretty! In her free time she likes to listen to music, paint the nails and, above all, read books. Her favourite school subject is English and she doesn't like Latin. She has a dog called Tigre. Her favourite holiday is Christmas and she likes to eat chicken with potatoes. She likes to watch TV with her sisters because this makes her laugh.I met her at the beginning of this school year and I'm really happy that she is my classmate. Columbus Day!

'Columbus Day' is celebrated on 12th October. In the USA it is a long holiday weekend. It is the anniversary of Christopher Columbus' arrival in the Americas in the 1492. Every year in America people celebrate this event, but at first, people celebrated this holiday unofficially. Now, the people of the USA are invited to celebrate this festivity with church services and other activities. In some towns and cities, special church services, parades, fireworks and large events are held. Most celebrations are concentrated around the Italian-American community.

Halloween!

The name Halloween is an abbreviation of ''All Hallows Eve'', a traditional name for the Catholic holiday of All Sants' Day. It is a yearly celebration observed about all in the USA on 31st October. The Halloween celebrated today has elements of several different religious and cultural traditions. Its characteristics are very various: there are parades, children's games like the trick or treating. Children in costumes travel from house to house in order to ask for treats such as candy with the question 'trick or treat?'. The 'trick' is a threat to perform mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given to them.HALLOWEEN IS COMING :)

 

AUTUMN!♥

Autumn is one of the four seasons and it has always been my favourite season. It is magical, full of colours, but usually also sad because the days are dark and quiet. In this period I have a lot of time to reflect, I really like hear the rain and read books, it's very relaxing. Autumn it's cold and therefore we hug our friends or family, I love hugs, they make me feel good and can change my whole day. I also love the warm and cozy hug of sweaters and my cup of hot tea. In the Autumn the weather is cold and I like it because I can wear sweaters, scarves, boots and hats. I LOVE IT!A hug to you all! ♥♥♥

Hi, this is my school blog!
My name is Aleksandra and I'm fourteen years old. I'm from Poland but I live in Mondragone. My hobbies are taking photos, playing the guitar, listening to music and reading books. I love music, my favourite genres are alternative rock, funk metal,  funk rock, pop punk and similar. I'm a fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers and my favourite singer is Anthony Kiedis, the vocalist of RHCP. He's an American singer-songwriter and he published an autobiography entitled Scar Tissue. My favourite song is ''Dani California'', but all the songs of RHCP are very nice. I love music because it makes me happy!
